Students & Young Adults

Understand what you bring. Explore where it could take you.

You may be approaching graduation, deciding what to study, or looking for your first meaningful opportunity. Perhaps you have already started working and are wondering whether the direction you’ve chosen fits.

You have interests, experiences, and abilities. The challenge can be recognizing how they connect—and explaining what you have to offer.

The Clarity Studio helps you understand what matters to you, what comes naturally, and which possibilities are worth exploring. Together, we build a foundation for making choices with greater confidence and ownership.

Recognizing your strengths

Some strengths are easy to overlook because they feel ordinary to you. The way you solve a problem, organize a project, notice what others miss, or help a group move forward may reveal abilities you haven’t yet learned to name.

Through assessment, reflection, and personal conversation, we explore those patterns. We connect your findings with examples from school, work, projects, activities, and everyday life.

You gain language for your strengths and evidence you can use to describe them. That understanding can help you evaluate opportunities, ask better questions, and explain how you could contribute.

Connecting self-understanding with opportunity

The Clarity Studio is grounded in the Becoming You methodology, developed by Dr. Suzy Welch. It explores the intersection of your authentic values, defining aptitudes, and economically viable interests. Becoming You Labs’ expertise in economics and the future of work helps connect personal understanding with realistic possibilities.

We consider what makes a direction worth investigating: the work involved, the strengths it draws on, what you would need to learn, and how you might begin exploring it.

If you are navigating a job search, we also consider how to tell your story in a way that connects your experience and abilities with the opportunity you want. The aim is to help you approach the process more thoughtfully and proactively, with a clearer understanding of your contribution.

A process shaped around your experience

Whether you’re still in school or beginning your working life, our work has the same purpose: to help you understand your values, recognize your natural strengths, and explore economically viable possibilities for your future.

For high school and college students, and young adults with limited work experience, Becoming You Labs has designed a proprietary 12-week Purpose Practicum. This curriculum, developed specifically for students, explores the same essential questions about values, aptitudes, and possibilities through a process tailored to this stage of your life—making the insights relevant to your experience and the decisions ahead.

For young adults with more work experience, the standard individual process may be the better fit. We draw on your experiences in work and life to recognize patterns, understand your strengths, and consider where they could lead.

My background includes a master’s degree in education and experience teaching high-school English, which informs how I work with young people.

What you receive

Whichever program you complete, you receive your assessment findings, a personalized Clarity book, and an Individual Growth Plan. Together, these give you language for what you bring, pathways to investigate, and practical next steps you can pursue with greater confidence.

Timing and investment

Both programs are $2,950, including your Clarity book and Individual Growth Plan.

Purpose Practicum: a 12-week curriculum for students and young adults with limited work experience. Your Clarity book and Individual Growth Plan arrive during weeks 14–16.

Standard individual process: typically five to six weeks of assessments and conversations, with the printed book generally arriving around weeks eight to ten, followed by our Growth Plan conversation.

We’ll discuss your circumstances during a complimentary video conversation and identify the process that fits you.

A smaller starting point

Understand Your Values includes two sessions, typically over two weeks, for $500. Using the Values Bridge assessment and guided reflection, we explore what drives your decisions and how those priorities show up in your life.

This can be useful on its own or become the beginning of the full individual process. If you continue, the $500 is credited toward the full engagement.

What clarity can make possible

Julia wanted to move into the fashion industry but questioned whether her experience elsewhere would translate. Seeing her strengths reflected in both her assessment findings and examples from her own work helped her recognize what she could bring.

She applied for the opportunity she wanted and secured the role. She describes it as “a position I really wanted that fully aligns with my career path.”

How parents are involved

We discuss parent involvement at the outset, taking into account the student’s age, circumstances, and engagement. Together, we establish how parents will participate and how findings will be discussed.

The aim is to support useful family conversations while helping the young person develop confidence and ownership of their decisions.

Everything starts with a conversation.

Send me a message, and I’ll send you a link to book a complimentary video conversation.

We’ll discuss what you hope to understand, the options available, and which starting point could suit your circumstances.
